S.T.E.M in Music Initiative

Students will learn about the equipment used by DJ's and sound engineers and how there is "Science" found in each part. Students will explore sound vibrations/sound travel, Math in music and the basics of rhythm.

SessionOfferings:  Weekly (4) session format for one hour (Intensive)

                               Introductory one hour workshop (All levels)

Students will rotate through different stations where different topics are taught with related hands on activities.

 Unleash your kids’ inner rock star with our 3-HOUR DJ Basic weekend workshops! Our interactive workshops will have your kid beating, matching, mixing and scratching in no time! Studies show that music enhances kids development and cognitive skills and what better way than to learn to DJ at Keep The Beat Inc.  Your child will learn on real equipment like vinyl records including turntables and CDJ's. Our workshops are perfect for ages 10-17.
